A 1993 cum laude graduate of Boston University with a B.A. in History, Tom subsequently obtained his Juris Doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1996. In law school, he was awarded the faculty Award for Excellence in Legal Writing and graduated in the top twenty percent of his class, cum laude.

Tom joined O’Malley & Langan, P.C., in 1996, where his practice has been devoted to workers’ compensation, social security disability and personal injuries of all kinds including automobile accidents, unsafe products and slip and fall cases.

Tom is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Justice, the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association of Justice, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Northeast Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, the Lackawanna Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, and the Workplace Injury Law and Advocacy Group.

Tom has continued his legal education by attending various annual seminars.

He annually attends automobile insurance and workers’ compensation seminars, trial advocacy and related seminars.

In 2002, Tom spoke at a National Workers’ Compensation Seminar in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
