O'Malley & Langan Law Offices is proud to announce that we have promoted Attorney Kyle D. Stelmack to Partner. Attorney Stelmack goes above and beyond to help his clients get the compensation they deserve. When handling workers' compensation, Social Security disability and personal injury cases, he makes sure that his clients are treated fairly.
“Kyle is a real go-getter. His energy, can-do attitude, and ease with people is impressive,” says Todd J. O’Malley, Founder and Senior Partner at O’Malley & Langan. “His experience serving clients in a variety of capacities gives him a breadth of experience you don’t often see in a young attorney. His personal commitment to doing his absolute best for his clients paired with a high degree of skill in research, writing, and litigating make him a fine addition to the firm. I’m proud to have Kyle join our team.”
Attorney Stelmack was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in 2016. He's a cum laude undergraduate of the University of Pittsburgh and holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. When asked why he went into law, he gave this explanation:
“I’ve always based my educational and career choices on doing whatever I could to help people. So many in this country feel lost and powerless when going up against big corporations. No one should feel that way. O’Malley & Langan’s reputation for tenacity in advocating for their clients is what attracted me to the firm. I’m grateful to be here and, truthfully, wouldn’t be where I am without the unwavering support of my parents, my wife, and my brother. Family means everything to me.”
Attorney Stelmack's commitment to helping others has been evident throughout his legal career. For example, here's what he did before joining O'Malley & Langan:
- Volunteered at the Pitt Law Veteran's Clinic where he assisted American veterans in obtaining disability benefits and upgrades to their discharge status.
- Spent time with the Defender's Association of Philadelphia, where he helped low-income clients navigate the criminal justice system and advocated for them.
- Assisted with personal injury cases at Thomas A. Will & Associates, a small law firm in downtown Pittsburgh.
- Interned with the Office of the Solicitor at the United States Department of Labor where he helped secure the rights of our nation's workforce.
Additionally, Attorney Stelmack's professional affiliations include:
- The American Association for Justice
- The Pennsylvania Association for Justice
- The Lackawanna County Bar Association
- The Pennsylvania Bar Association
- The Worker’s Injury Law & Advocacy Group
Attorney Stelmack currently resides in downtown Scranton with his wife Morgan, as well as their golden retriever Murphy and rescue cat Katsby. He enjoys running and playing golf and basketball with friends in his free time. An avid sports fan, he often cheers on Pitts sports teams and Philadelphia professional sports teams. Together, he and his wife enjoy discovering new and exciting activities in northeast Pennsylvania and passing along tips on new restaurants and businesses in the area.

With law offices in Scranton, Pittston, and Towanda, we help clients in workers' compensation, Social Security disability, personal injury, and oil and gas litigation cases. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently working with clients via email, phone, and video conference. We will also meet with clients at one of our law offices when necessary. Various federal, state, and administrative courts and agencies have adopted separate and evolving COVID-19 policies.
