Tom is a graduate of Scranton Central High School and the University of Scranton with a B.S. Degree in Political Science and a degree in History.
Tom is a graduate of Scranton Central High School and the University of Scranton with a B.S. Degree in Political Science and a degree in History. In 1993, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
Admitted to practice law in November of 1993, he is Member of Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania and the Federal Bar Associations. He held two directorships with the Department of Auditor General in the Bureau of School Audits and the office of Human Resources under Auditor General Robert P. Casey, Jr. and served as the Solicitor for Lackawanna County Controller’s office under Vincent Wiercinski and as an Assistant Solicitor for Lackawanna County. In addition, Tom is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the American Association of Justice. Tom practices in the areas of Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Employment Law.
Tom is currently a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus (Moscow Council), Major Degree member of JFK Division #1, Ancient Order of Hibernians, member of the Eagle’s Club, has served as an Assistant Parade Director, Vice-President and Treasurer for the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade Committee of Lackawanna County, member of the Lithuanian Taurus Club, the Polish Progressive Club and Saint Stephen’s Booster Club. Tom was also a Board Member of the Irish American Men’s Association of Scranton and Lackawanna County. He is a current Board Member of Scranton Neighborhood Housing Services, a member of Holy Rosary Church in North Scranton where he is the Past President of the Holy Rosary Parish Council, first and current Chairman of the Holy Rosary School Advisory Committee, former member of the Holy Rosary Finance Committee, and 2005 Co-Chairman of the Holy Rosary Block Party.
