Property Tax and Rent Rebate

This program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians age 65 and older; widows and widowers age 50 and older; and people with disabilities age 18 and older. The program expansion increased the income limit from $15,000 to $35,000 (which excludes half of Social Security income) for homeowners and raises the maximum rebate for both homeowners and renters from $500 to $650. The income limit for renters is $15,000.

PP&L - Operation Help

Operation HELP provides emergency financial aid to pay heating bills for families with financial hardships. PPL Electric Utilities was one of the first utilities to establish a fuel fund for customers in need. Operation HELP is funded by customers, employees and PPL, and is administered by a network of local agencies.

PP&L - Winter Relief Assistance Program (WRAP) - Weatherization Services

WRAP is an energy efficiency program designed to help income-eligible customers reduce their energy use and improve their living comfort. Examples of possible WRAP services are insulation of attics and basements, caulking of air leaks, and insulation of hot water pipes. PP&L - OnTrack Payment Program

OnTrack is a special payment plan for residential customers who are struggling to pay their bills, administered by local agencies, that offers reduced monthly payments, protection from shutoffs and debt forgiveness. It gives people a chance to earn a fresh start.
